a trifle

i found this picture on a web page today. it was the companion to a fake story about over the top christians stealing tampons from drug stores and beating up teenaged girls for trying to buy them. it was satire of course, but it made me think about how there probably are women out there who use pads because they think it's evil to stick a foreign object into their vaginers. it's sad to think of such severe sexual repression etc etc, but PADS? if one thing is trife*, it's menses in the crotch.

*i've been a big fan of the word 'trife' since way back when all those super mean trannies used to hang out on the corner of 12th and spruce and just tear up all the girls who passed by while they were waiting for dates. i heard it a lot back then... i like to think i'm not quite 'menses in the crotch' level trife, but i bet those ladies were streetwise, so hell, maybe i think wrong.
